Node Builder

Python, Tkinter, PyInstaller and GitHub Actions · Linde Gas

One corrupted manual build took 20 hours to recover, so I built a tool for the 19-step setup of GE Vernova Proficy iFIX, the HMI and SCADA platform used at the plant. The tool supports four types of plant node. It makes backups, validates each step before continuing and checks file hashes at the end. The written procedure budgets four to six hours for this work; the tool completes it in under 30 minutes.

The program ships as a single-file executable without an installer or network access. GitHub Actions runs 279 tests, then builds and smoke-tests the executable before each release. After a partial deployment once locked technicians out of iFIX, I changed it to mirror the full site tree and recount its integrity. Linde IT approved the tool.

SCADA Alarm Analyzer

Python and ISA-18 alarm-management practices · Linde Gas

This offline iFIX log parser checks for chattering alarms and bursts, helping controls engineers distinguish recurring alarm patterns from isolated events. It ranked 81,443 events from 13 days of plant logs in seconds and showed that one tag caused a third of the alarms. It ships as a single-file executable and does not need network access.

Plant Request Portal

I’m specifying and directing development of a portal to replace the Word scope sheet plant managers use to request controls work. It gathers the information the controls team needs before a request reaches them, with the goal of reducing follow-up and making each job easier to scope. The project has more than 800 automated tests.

Nirvaana

Swift/SwiftUI and TypeScript · Co-founder and CEO

Nirvaana is an AI platform for people who do not write code. It combines saved memory, a connected AI team, connectors and guardrails. It launched on the web, Mac and Windows on September 29, 2026.

I built its native iPhone app for directing AI coding agents. The first TestFlight build was ready two days after the first commit; I shipped 13 builds over six days and added 486 automated tests. Desktop version 0.1.7 included 11 team pull requests in one release and had 886 tests in CI. The Mac app is signed, notarized by Apple and distributed through auto-update.

Analog Load-Cell Scale

Op-amp design and MATLAB · UC Davis

I designed an op-amp front end that uses the full range of the analog-to-digital converter. MATLAB calibration converted its voltage readings into weight measurements and counted the beans in a bag.
